Using a systematic methodology, we match cities’ sanitation and waste management needs with technology and service delivery models, and then offer clear guidance on the steps that governments, funders, service providers and technology developers can take to develop and implement integrated service delivery systems. 

Operational since 2011, Sanergy serves over 140,000 urban residents with safe sanitation services every day. Sanergy collects and treats over 12,000T of waste per year, and successfully sells its agricultural end-products to farmers in over 20 counties in Kenya, who see improved yields and increased incomes. At the same time, we have built a team of over 400 employees from diverse backgrounds who solve diverse problems, but all embody the drive, creativity, teamwork, and passion that make us achieve our goals. The Sales Enablement Manager will provide the training, content, processes, practices, and tools needed to support salespeople throughout the buyer's journey. They will work collaboratively with sales, marketing, partners, and other key stakeholders to increase sales results and productivity.

  • Develop strategies to scale the sales and marketing teams beyond a handful of overachievers. 

  • Develop best practices and implement standardized tools and resources to maximize the performance of sales and marketing staff. 

  • Coach all members of the sales and marketing teams on key skills and competencies.

  • Lead sales onboarding and training to ensure that new members of the sales and marketing teams become a success as quickly as possible. 

  • Champion sales related technology and ensure that the same is implemented and adopted by the sales and marketing teams so as to improve their effectiveness. These technologies include Content management system (CMS) and the Customer relationship management (CRM) system. 

  • Manage and organize content so that the sales and marketing teams can easily access and utilize it. Ensure that the content is customer-focused and engaging. 

  • Act as a liaison between Sales & Marketing by ensuring that all content across teams is optimized, consistent and easily accessible, so as to streamline and improve the entire sales process.

  • Evaluate metrics and effectiveness of sales initiatives. Use performance data to pinpoint gaps in knowledge or skills of the sales team. Track sales enablement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Track and analyze all training, content, and courseware usage

  • Bachelor's degree in any field

  • 5 year’s experience in a commercial role in either sales or marketing.

  • 3 year’s experience in a sales enablement function is preferred. 

  • Experience in designing and implementing sales processes that govern sales cycles.

  • Demonstrable experience in leading training and development initiatives. 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Demonstrable project management experience, especially in projects that involve content creation, deployment and management.

  • Extensive knowledge of sales enablement technology, processes and best practices is preferred. 

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
